Cale Makar's Early Life and Hockey Career
Cale Makar was born on October 30, 1998, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He grew up playing hockey and was a standout player in his youth leagues. Makar played for the Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) before committing to play for the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
